Willis names regional captives leader
Willis has made Trevor Madden head of captive and insurance management solutions for Asia-Pacific, effective from November.
Mr Madden will be based in Singapore and takes over from Joyce Chua, who is leaving to “pursue personal priorities”.
Global head of captive and insurance management solutions Peter Carter says captives and alternative risk financing solutions are playing an increasingly strategic role in how organisations manage risk, deploy capital and strengthen resilience.
“Trevor brings exceptional leadership experience, deep technical expertise and a proven track record of helping companies maximise the value of their captive and insurance management structures,” he said.
Mr Madden will join from the broker’s captive management operation in Ireland, where he has been MD and has held other senior leadership positions since 2003.
He brings more than 35 years’ experience in the international insurance and reinsurance industry, including in underwriting, governance, risk management and business development.
Mr Carter says Willis wishes Ms Chua every success in the future. “Under her leadership, we have strengthened our market presence and deepened our relationships with clients,” he said.
