QBE funds financial abuse advice clinics
The QBE Foundation has partnered with the Centre for Women’s Economic Safety to expand advice about economic abuse for women, non-binary and gender-diverse people.
The foundation will help CWES launch its Money Clinics in a hybrid format to reach people in regional communities.
“We aim to increase access to financial guidance and resources for those facing significant challenges,” QBE Foundation co-chair Julie Starley said.
“We are proud to support CWES and the vital work they do to improve economic safety for women.”
Women in regional areas face higher rates of violence and abuse, and greater barriers to support.
CWES CEO Rebecca Glenn says QBE’s investment will help address that gap and deliver Money Clinics to less-served areas of Australia.
