QBE, Blue Zebra extend motor partnership

Blue Zebra has secured a new motor underwriting agreement with capacity provider QBE after the pact signed last year expired.

“Following our successful experience partnering with QBE, both parties have agreed to partner for a further multiyear term,” a spokesperson for the Envest-owned underwriting agency told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

QBE has been underwriting Blue Zebra’s commercial and private motor products since July last year, after the agency’s contract with Youi ended.

“Since then, our relationship has grown from strength to strength,” Blue Zebra said.

Blue Zebra also says Ryan Grigg has joined as head of claims, and Sarahjane Goldych as motor claims manager.

Brenden Anforth has been appointed senior technical underwriter for the motor portfolio.

Mr Grigg will oversee claims operations across the combined group of agencies comprising Blue Zebra Insurance, SGUA, Allstate and Point.
