UK insurance operations specialist Pro Global has bought Sydney-based compliance and training group GSI Professional Services.

Pro Global says the acquisition gives it a platform to expand across the Asia-Pacific region and extends its audit and advisory services into Australia.

GSI provides compliance services and training for the general insurance industry in the region.

Owner and MD David Mills will continue with the group as head of region, Australia.

GSI was previously called Gold Seal International but rebranded in 2021.

It was not part of the 2020 sale to Steadfast of affiliated companies Gold Seal Practice Management and Gold Seal Intellectual Property.

The company was established in 1995 but in 2017 launched as Gold Seal International to focus on supporting Lloyd’s managing agents.
