Power couple team up on green energy discounts

IAG has partnered with fintech Brighte to help its employees and NRMA Insurance customers transition their homes to more sustainable energy.

Eligible staff and customers can access discounts on solar systems, battery storage and electric vehicle chargers installed by Brighte-accredited vendors.

The fintech provides payment plans and financing for energy-efficient home upgrades.

IAG says the partnership supports its ambition of “empowering better choices for a safer place”, outlined in its recently refreshed Climate Action Plan: Towards FY30.

EM of group sustainability and climate action Amy Hogan said: “Households want practical ways to improve how their homes use energy, but many don’t know where to start.”

Brighte founder and CEO Katherine McConnell says the partnership shows how organisations can help turn interest in home energy upgrades into action.

“By working with trusted organisations like IAG, we’re helping more households move forward with home energy upgrades, giving employees and customers a direct path to accredited vendors, quotes and finance options,” she said.

IAG staff and NRMA Insurance customers can receive discounts of up to $500 on qualifying home energy upgrades.
