Lloyd’s reveals Australian succession plan

Lloyd’s has announced two internal appointments as it shakes up its Australian leadership team following the promotion of country head Chris Mackinnon.

From April, Head of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Asia-Pacific Tracey Bryan will take an additional role as General Representative in Australia and Vanuatu, and Peter Plustwik, who joined in 2020 as Dispute Resolution Team Manager, will be promoted to GM.

As previously reported, Regional Head of Australia and New Zealand Mr Mackinnon will become Regional Director for the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa markets, taking over from Iain Ferguson, who is retiring at the end of the year.

As General Representative, Ms Bryan will have responsibility for managing Lloyd’s regulatory relationships and obligations, and representing the interests of the market in her territories.

Mr Plustwik will be responsible for managing the local Lloyd’s subsidiary and the Lloyd’s Australia team, and he will join the board of Lloyd’s Australia.
