Lawyer-linked claims manager begins operations
A new third-party claims service provider has launched, promising a “transformative approach” for insurers, underwriters and brokers.
Tetra Claims is backed by Law Squared, a law firm with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Auckland and London.
“Unlike traditional [claims administrators], Tetra Claims benefits from direct integration with Law Squared’s specialist insurance litigation team, ensuring a seamless transition from claims handling to litigation,” the business says.
Tetra Claims operates on a fixed-fee model and has a proprietary claims management platform built on Salesforce.
It is headquartered in Melbourne and led by head of claims Sean Hayes, who was previously with workplace risk management consultant Risk Strategies, according to his LinkedIn. Before that, he was head of Crawford TPA Australia.
“With real-time visibility, automated data collection and a unified platform, we are able to confidently deliver faster response times and a superior user experience for insurers and their insureds,” Mr Hayes said.
