Guardian Insurance Brokers has appointed compliance specialist Fiona Wood as COO.

Ms Wood was most recently compliance services manager with Steadfast Goldseal, and she has also worked at Holdfast Insurance Brokers and Allianz.

“I’m grateful for the experiences, opportunities and relationships built during my time at Steadfast, and I’m looking forward to bringing that experience to Guardian as we continue to grow and evolve,” Ms Wood said on LinkedIn.

Adelaide-based Guardian was established in 1991 by MD Evan Jackson and now has 37 staff.

Mr Jackson says Ms Wood brings compliance expertise to support the growing business and will ensure the delivery of services is consistent, effective and sustainable.
