Costigan leaves SafetyCulture Care

SafetyCulture Care MD Frank Costigan has left the risk mitigation-focused underwriting agency, as it looks to expand in the US.

Mr Costigan held Australian leadership roles at Youi and QBE before joining SafetyCulture Care in late 2021.

The business relaunched last year, moving on from its original name Mitti and ending a partnership with QBE. Technology company SafetyCulture acquired full ownership of the agency and capacity is now provided by Allianz.

“We’re commencing a search for a US-based insurance leader to spearhead our expansion in the US insurance market,” a SafetyCulture spokesman said. “As far as our customers and partners are concerned, it's business as usual, and we remain firmly focused on helping them to run better, safer businesses.”
