Aon has appointed Sean Deehan as CEO of its strategy and technology group for Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong.

The broker says he will help increase access to integrated advisory, analytics and technology solutions, with a focus on greater adoption of the Life Risk Modelling Suite, including PathWise – a platform for life and annuity risk modelling that helps actuarial teams run complex projections.

Mr Deehan has more than 25 years’ experience across insurance, consulting, strategy and risk management, including the Asia-Pacific region.

He joins Aon from WTW, where he most recently served as Greater China divisional leader and head of Hong Kong and Macau.

He previously held several senior executive and board roles, including CEO and executive director of Standard Life (Asia).
