Ausure hosts ‘energising’ training day for young talent

Ausure will host its third Emerging Talent Day in October, for employees aged under 35.

The event aims to help the network’s top young professionals develop key skills, and this year’s theme – Effective Communication and Storytelling – is about connecting and leading in customer and industry interactions.

Participants will join workshops on negotiation, building client trust and insurer engagement, and there will be presentations from industry leaders.

Ausure says it is a blended course of “soft skill development, with practical tools and real-world guidance ... to bridge the gap between technical ability and leadership potential”.

Business development GM Adam Sloan said: “We believe in investing in our people, not just through technical training but by building the soft skills and mindset needed to lead.

“Emerging Talent Day is one of the most energising days on the Ausure calendar, and a clear reflection of how serious we are about developing our next generation”

Mr Sloan will be an event host, alongside broking placement manager John Mills.

The program is open to all Ausure staff in broking, claims, support and placement roles, to a maximum of 40 participants. It will be held at SafetyCulture’s head office in Sydney on October 16.
