IAG acts to end claims ‘triangle of confusion’
Brisbane insurtech Codafication’s platform has been selected to manage IAG property claims.
Its Crunchwork platform automates workflows and acts as a “control tower”, providing updates to all parties throughout the claims process.
“Suppliers, assessors and IAG teams alike will see the same real-time information – repair schedules, scope updates and progress milestones – creating a seamless customer journey,” IAG EM of property fulfilment Scott Linsday said.
Codafication founder and MD Daniel Sandaver has also been MD at repair manager Australian Building & Construction Group for 18 years.
There, he saw a “triangle of confusion” involving customer, insurer and supply chain.
Crunchwork was created to manage all parties involved in claims.
“After years in insurance claims, I noticed a lack of real-time visibility on claim status with suppliers, forcing teams to chase updates by phone or email, which slowed down the entire rebuild process,” he said. “With Crunchwork’s real-time information-sharing, the customer will know who’s responsible for which part of the claim and who to go to for clarification.
“IAG can focus on improved system controls and consistent supplier management, providing the best possible experience for its clients while modernising its claims supply chain operating model.”
