IA unveils ITC Singapore delegation

Insurtech Australia (IA) has named nine of its members attending Insuretech Connect (ITC) Asia in Singapore later this month. 

The delegation, which will head to the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre on May 30 to June 1, will comprise of Mapizy, Advisr, SyncTech, Numerisk, Autograb, Prooftec, Autoreviewa, Friss and Stelvio Australia’s EstImage. 

IA CEO Simone Dossetor says Australian Insurtech has a valuable contribution and capability to bring to the Asian insurtech ecosystem, and the nine IA members will look to scale into the insurance industry there. 

QBE Ventures is lead sponsor and Austrade a supporter. IA will host a networking event on May 29, showcasing opportunities that exist for collaboration between the Australian and Asia Insurtech ecosystems.

About the nine delegates:

  • Advisr successfully completed a seed investment round in 2021 to internationally expand its platform, designed to provide the largest independent broker platform for SME clients. 

  • Mapizy uses geospatial analytics to quantify property value and risk, helping estimate accurate housing premiums and notify property changes for automated renewals. 

  • Sync’s visual property data for building claims include aerial and ground-based external and internal captures, floor plans, photos, and simulations to speed claims management 

  • Melbourne-based AutoGrab is a vehicle software business and helps insurers with market insights, predictive analytics and historical data. 

  • ProofTec is an Australian based AI vehicle damage detection and analysis company which aims to revolutionise the vehicle mobility and motor insurance sector.

Sunshine Cost-based Autoreviewa is an online vehicle marketplace. Its platform provides automated vehicle procurement solutions for insurers and businesses. 

  • Friss, which counts Allianz, Aon and Mapfre among its customers, helps insurers manage fraud using advanced technology. 

  • Stelvio Australia’s EstImage Motor and EstImage Connect solutions offer a cloud-based workflow management platform.
