DKG partners with Geotab

Brokerage DKG Group is to launch its Fuse Fleet behaviour-based offer for Geotab customers under a new partnership.

Geotab's advanced telematics will combine with Fuse Fleet's insurance underwriting to support safety goals and create fairer insurance premiums for lower risk fleets, they say.

“Our mission is to transform the way fleet operators manage risk by rewarding safe driving with our digital insurance incentives for safer fleets and fairer premiums,” DKG MD Luke Kelly said.

Fuse was launched by the Sydney-based brokerage in April under a partnership with Swedish insurtech Greater Than. DKG was co-founded by Steadfast MD & CEO Robert Kelly more than 25 years ago as Delaney Kelly Golding, and is today headed by his sons, Luke and Robert Jnr.

Geotab, DKG and Fuse say they will arm insurers with better data, enabling them to make informed decisions, process claims faster and reward safe drivers with fairer premiums. The partnership will also enable fleets to improve safety using new technology to predict and prevent crashes.

“Combining Geotab’s expertise in telematics and knowledge in fleet insurance with Fuse Fleet and DKG Group’s experience will allow us to positively change the insurance of motor fleets in Australia,” Geotab APAC Associate VP Sales David Brown said.

Geotab provides telematics to more than 47,000 customers in 150 countries and says it connects over 3.8 million vehicles and processes more than 55 billion data points a day. Fuse Fleet offers connected insurance combined with claims management solutions, which it says is unique in Australia.
