FM Global appoints new Asia Pacific VP

Ziad Tadmoury has been appointed Executive VP at FM Global, overseeing operations in the Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Canada, as well as specialty industries.

The changes are effective in January, when James Galloway retires after 37 years.

“In this role, he will oversee operations across a diverse geographical region,” the commercial property insurer said. He will also oversee specialty industries and middle market insurance division AFM.

Mr Tadmoury will be based in London and report to CEO Bret Ahnell. He joined FM Global in 1989 as a reinsurance claims analyst and has since held senior roles in Massachusetts, London, Paris and the Rhode Island headquarters.

In 2019, he took the role of Asia Pacific division manager, and a year ago was replaced by Melbourne-based James Thompson as he was promoted to AFM Senior VP and division manager.

"Mr Tadmoury will uphold our commitment to resilience, service, and excellence. His success since joining is a testament to his relentless dedication and visionary leadership,” FM Global said.
