Leaders discuss impact of science and technology on insurance

More than 25 global insurance leaders have been confirmed as participants at the International Insurance Society’s 50th annual seminar in London.

Focusing on science and technology’s impact on the industry, the seminar will feature a leadership panel comprising Lloyd’s CEO Inga Beale, Willis Group CEO and Chairman Dominic Casserley, Ace Group Chairman and CEO Evan Greenberg, Prudential Corporation Asia CEO Barry Stowe and Munich Re Chairman Nikolaus von Bomhard.

Other topics to be covered include the struggle between innovation and regulation, the implications of alternative capital sources on reinsurance, disaster resilience, growth of cyber-risks, harnessing “Big Data” and the top 10 threats to the industry’s strength and stability.

The annual seminar is at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel from June 22-25.
