The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) is to hold a series of insurance forums in capital cities, with the first slated for Melbourne next month.

The annual meetings are an opportunity for members to discuss ongoing and emerging issues and share insights, FOS says in its circular.

A FOS panel will take questions from members.

The Melbourne meeting is on March 16, followed by Sydney on April 14, Brisbane on May 6, Adelaide on June 9 and Perth on June 10.

FOS will also hold life insurance forums in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane on March 17, April 13 and May 5.
