Former NIBA figure Charles McMillan dies

Insurance broking identity Charles McMillan, a long-serving former director of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA), died last month at the age of 82.

He was 82 and retired 13 years ago.

In a tribute note NIBA called Mr McMillan, who retired 13 years ago, an “industry stalwart”.

Mr McMillan is survived by his wife Ann, children Fiona and Ross, and grandchildren Mitchell and Stephanie.

A service to celebrate his life was held today at the Boyd Chapel in Melbourne’s Springvale Botanical Cemetery.
