DXC runs innovation contest

New York-listed DXC Technology has launched its annual contest in search of the country’s most innovative insurance solutions.

The DXC International, a joint initiative with collaboration platform CoVentured, aims to support the start-up community with winners getting the chance to showcase their products globally.

“Realising the power of outside-in innovation in insurance, DXC has launched a competition that we know will yield joint solutions to help solve key insurance problems by bringing out some of the industry’s top talent in the start-up community,” Australia and New Zealand MD Seelan Nayagam said.

“CoVentured presents an innovative platform that connects start-ups and scale-ups from across the world with corporates to foster product development, co-creation, vendor relationships and investment.

“DXC’s collaboration with CoVentured will enable clients to connect with a large ecosystem of start-ups, delivering on DXC’s commitment to promote the value offered by the insurtech community.”

Shortlisted applicants will take part in workshops where they will be given tutorials and guidance to prepare for the final presentation before a judging panel.

Winners of the digital insurance ecosystem and enriching insurance experience categories will be announced on May 8 in Sydney.

The winners will partner with DXC globally to market their solutions.

Closing date for the contest is March 22.
