UAC makes date for Adelaide expo

The Underwriting Agencies Council’s (UAC) annual SA Underwriting Expo will be held in Adelaide on August 13.

It will take place in the Ian McLachlan Room at the Adelaide Oval, which recently underwent a $535 million redevelopment.

“It’s a stunning venue,” UAC GM William Legge told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “I think it’s going to be a marvellous event for our members and for SA’s broker community.”

Mr Legge expects to attract up to 55 exhibitors and up to 350 brokers. Admission is free and does not require registration.

The expo will be open from 10am-2pm, with a complimentary lunch served in the expo hall from 1pm.

For the first time the UAC will survey exhibitors.

“We have the anecdotal evidence that the SA expo is of great value to the broking community and to our members,” Mr Legge said.

“But given that the expos are an important part of our membership offering, we feel it’s time to survey the membership to see what’s working, what’s not working so well and what else we can do to provide additional value.”

Hollard Australia Group is the expo sponsor. Visit here for more information.
