Technical Assessing farewells loss adjuster

The funeral of Technical Assessing Victoria State Manager Steve Mann will be held on Wednesday at 10.30am, at Nielsen Funerals in Warragul, Melbourne.

Mr Mann died in a motorcycle accident more than a week ago in Mirboo North, 155km east of Melbourne.

He is survived by his wife Janine and children Catherine, Jessica and James. The family has requested that donations be made in Mr Mann’s name to Beyondblue, in lieu of flowers.

Technical Assessing will celebrate his life and career on Wednesday from 4-6pm at the Mitre Tavern in Melbourne. Industry colleagues are welcome to join.

Mr Mann joined the national loss adjusting company in March last year and MD David Cambridge says he has left a huge imprint there.

Describing Mr Mann’s death as “a tragic loss”, he told insuranceNEWS.com.au: “He was an incredibly generous person, who would always go the extra mile with teammates and clients.

“Working closely with him was always a pleasure because of his diligent approach to everything he did.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as well as his industry colleagues.”

Mr Mann was in the industry for 25 years, starting as an executive loss adjuster with GAB Robins, now a Sedgwick company, before joining chartered loss adjuster Robertson, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He also worked for LMI Group as Victorian claims manager, followed by stints with Crawford & Company, Stream, Cunningham Lindsey, Australian Network Adjusters and Technical Assessing.
