EY partner Catherine Friday has been appointed to the Risk Management Institution of Australasia board.

Canberra-based Ms Friday leads the government and public sector risk practice at EY (formerly Ernst & Young), which includes risk consulting, internal audit, corporate governance and compliance service.

She has worked at EY since 2002 and was made a partner in 2009.

Ms Friday’s appointment takes the RMIA board to nine directors – two of whom are independent, including Ms Friday, with seven elected by the membership.
