Entries are now open for the Peter Corrigan scholarship, which provides $10,000 to attend an international conference or seminar program that offers industry or leadership-based development.

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and Finity Consulting support the award.

Candidates must submit a 2500-word essay from a choice of five questions.

The award is open to institute members who are insurance professionals with at least five years’ experience in the industry. Applications close on June 13.

The award honours industry leader Peter Corrigan, who died in 2002 aged 46. He was a former Insurance Council of Australia director, acting CEO of NRMA Group, CFO at Zurich and MD of AMP General.
