The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has opened this year’s New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards.

The categories open for nominations are:

• Small-medium broking company of the year
• Large broking company
• Direct general insurance company
• Intermediated insurance company
• Life insurance company
• Innovation of the year
• Service provider to the insurance industry
• Professional services firm
• Youth development employer
• Women’s employer
• Young insurance professional
• Broking professional
• Insurance leader
• Lifetime achievement award.

Each category is judged by a panel and independently audited by Ernst & Young.

Submissions close on July 7 and the winners will be announced on November 10 at SkyCity Convention Centre in Auckland.
