Winners of the annual Territory Insurance Awards were announced on Friday at a gala dinner at Darwin Convention Centre.

The event concluded the Northern Territory Insurance Conference, hosted by Allianz-owned Territory Insurance Office (TIO).

“These awards help to recognise high achievers in our community, and by supporting them we are underpinning a strong industry,” TIO CEO Daryl Madden said.

The award winners are:

• Claims professional of the year: Gregg Cooper (TIO Senior Consultant Complex Claims and Major Loss)
• Service provider professional: Julia Swenson (Territory Therapy Solutions Principal Occupational Therapist)
• Broker insurance professional: Katie Stephenson (Arthur J Gallagher Business Development Executive)
• Sales and underwriting professional: Travis Penning (TIO Property Manager).
