Ex-casualty head takes Ace chief underwriting role

Ace Group has promoted head of casualty in Asia-Pacific Neil Moon to Chief Underwriting Officer Asia-Pacific.

Mr Moon has been with Ace for 25 years, and has held underwriting leadership positions in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the US and the UK.

Based in Sydney, he will be responsible for various underwriting disciplines, including portfolio management, data analytics, market research, product development and underwriting audit functions across the region.

Mr Moon’s successor as Head of Casualty Asia-Pacific is Adam Clifford.

Mr Clifford has 16 years’ experience in casualty insurance, covering technical underwriting, business and product development, portfolio management and risk assessment. He will be based in Singapore.

Mr Moon and Mr Clifford will report to Deputy Regional President and Regional Head of Property & Casualty Asia-Pacific Paul McNamee.
