Entries open for icare awards

Applications are open for Insurance & Care NSW’s (icare) Care and Service Excellence Awards.

The scheme recognises service delivery in injury management and broker engagement within icare’s Nominal Insurer (NI) and Treasury Managed Fund (TMF) workers’ compensation schemes.

CEO Vivek Bhatia says the awards help icare work with scheme agents and brokers towards providing injured workers “a world-class standard of service”.

“Last’s year’s winners demonstrate how far the industry has come in improving customer care and treatment to create a better experience for injured workers,” he said.

He says scheme agents and brokers are “imperative to ensuring great customer outcomes”.

The categories for NI and TMF awards are outstanding new starter, outstanding contribution by a team, contribution by an individual, and excellence and innovation in injury management.

The brokers’ award category is excellence in improving client performance.

There are also two awards nominated by icare: services to icare workers’ insurance
and services to icare self-insurance.

Applicants can nominate themselves or others. Finalists will be notified in August, with winners announced on September 15 at an event at Doltone House at Sydney’s Darling Island Wharf.

Entries close on June 3 and can be submitted here.
