Claims excellence lands NTI Sue Ronai award

National Transport Insurance (NTI) has won the Sue Ronai Memorial Excellence in Claims Award.

Allianz was a close second and CGU came third.

The award was originally presented by Melbourne broker Austbrokers Phillips but is now voted on and awarded by all Austbrokers members in Victoria and Tasmania, using 13 criteria to rate the claims service of major insurers and underwriters.

This year they voted twice, in June and November, so the award reflects a full year’s service.

NTI Victoria and Tasmania State Manager Renzo Antidormi says the company is thrilled to win the award, which highlights the importance of claims service.

“As a specialist in heavy motor insurance, our claims team is committed to helping transport operators get back on the road sooner so they can continue to serve their customers and ensure their livelihood is protected,” he said.

The award honours Sue Ronai, who had a long career in claims and was claims manager at Austbrokers Phillips when she died of cancer in 2007.
