Catlin to host reputation risk conferences

Catlin Australia will hold “Managing Reputation Risk” professional development conferences in Sydney on October 28 and Brisbane on October 30.

“A company’s reputation is perhaps its most valuable asset,” Catlin says. “Reputational damage is a hidden danger that can pose a threat to the survival of the biggest and best-run companies.”

The conferences will include a presentation called managing reputational risk in the increasingly volatile world of product recall, extortion and instability.

Other topics include project delivery following delays and pursuing the rights of subrogation.

The conference features two panel discussions, including one on global economic uncertainty and the impact on markets.

“Investor warnings about asset price bubbles and excessive risk-taking are building,” Catlin says.

“It’s being said the last time investors were so uncertain about the macroeconomic outlook was in 2007. Are we due for a correction and what are the implications for professionals and company directors?”

The second panel discussion will be on reputational damage.

The conference offers up to five continuing professional development points. To register, click here for Sydney and here for Brisbane.
