Adroit Insurance Group raised about $90,000 at its annual charity golf event at Barwon Heads in Victoria.

About $79,000 will go to the Geelong Community Foundation, with the remainder funding a garden project by St Laurence Community Services.

The brokerage’s event earlier this month drew about 174 participants.

“The benefits from the funds we raised today are far-reaching,” MD Andrew Locke said. “It’s amazing to see so many businesses and organisations supporting our community by giving generously.”
