The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance raised more than $16,000 for SIDS and Kids SA at a charity lunch in Adelaide.

The charity provides bereavement support for people affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or child. It also provides education on safe sleeping practices.

The institute says the sum raised at the Adelaide Convention Centre event was almost double last year’s total, and highlights the SA industry’s generosity.

About 370 guests attended the lunch, with a silent auction, raffle items and a wine wall contributing to funds raised.
