Former Dual CEO Shane Doyle has been made a partner at Canadian insurer and reinsurer Beach, charged with growing its global portfolio.

Mr Doyle was Dual CEO for more than two years until late last year, and before that was deputy CEO and group chief underwriting officer and CEO corporate risks.

He has also served as CEO of Zurich Financial Services Australia and spent 20 years with AIG in New Zealand, the Middle East, Europe and the UK.

His London-based role will be concentrated on the managing general agent and affinity space as Beach grows business with direct retail and wholesale intermediaries.

Beach CEO and President Grahame Millwater says Mr Doyle “adds real bench strength” to the company’s senior management team.
