Suncorp reveals new ring of fire logo

Suncorp has unveiled a new logo – its first update since government entities Suncorp and QIDC merged with the publicly listed Metway bank two decades ago.

“With the sun at its core, the new design represents Suncorp’s purpose to create a better today for customers, shareholders, communities and people,” the insurer says.

Suncorp employees were shown the logo in October, and it will be rolled out across refurbished stores, signage and advertising throughout 2017.

“Our business is evolving and we want to make sure our logo represents who we are today,” Chief Customer Experience Officer Mark Reinke said.

Suncorp spokesman Rob White told insuranceNEWS.com.au the logo reflects the group’s new direction since Michael Cameron was appointed CEO and MD in October last year.

The group recently opened its first “concept store”, which is a one-stop shop for all the company’s insurance and financial products. See earlier story
