NZ tourism group partners with JLT, AIG

New Zealand’s Tourism Industry Association has selected JLT and AIG as its preferred insurance and risk services partners for the next three years.

Under the partnership, effective from August 1, the two companies will serve the association and its 1500 member businesses from all industry sectors.

“As a well-respected brand, many of our members will know of AIG through its support of the All Blacks,” association CEO Chris Roberts says.

JLT New Zealand CEO Matthew Riddle says the broker has invested in a dedicated tourism team.

AIG New Zealand CEO Mike Raines says the insurer wants “to help New Zealand tourism businesses capture today’s opportunities and look to the future with confidence”.

Mr Roberts says New Zealand aims to reach $NZ41 billion ($37.15 billion) in annual tourism revenue by 2025, up from $NZ10.3 billion ($9.33 billion) now.
