New Chubb unit targets large accounts

Chubb has set up a major accounts division in Australia and New Zealand to service large and multinational clients and business partners.

It says the division aims to deliver premium service in underwriting, risk engineering and claims, with a focus on crafted solutions and bespoke services.

Demetra Day, previously Chubb’s Asia-Pacific financial institution and commercial crime underwriting manager, will run the unit as Head of Major Accounts Division.

“Chubb has developed a well-known reputation for servicing clients in the major accounts segment,” Country President Australia and New Zealand Jarrod Hill said.

“The creation of the new division… will only boost the delivery of product, service and advice to this key client segment, where we have strong business relationships.”

A similar division for the Asia-Pacific region was launched in August.
