Guild appoints new leadership team

Guild Insurance has made appointments to its core leadership team as it rolls out expansion plans.

The structural changes follow the departure of David Brown as GM Insurance to “pursue other interests in the industry”.

Allison Prince has joined the company as Head of Claims from CGU, where she was National Claims Relationships and Project Manager. Rick Howe is the new GM of Distribution and Business Development.

They join GM Underwriting Paul Cassidy, who was appointed last year, in forming the core insurance leadership team under CEO Mario Pirone.

Mr Pirone says the group will support the company’s growth plans for both Guild Insurance and its intermediated division, Acerta.

“The appointments of Allison Prince, Rick Howe and Paul Cassidy will strengthen our service to existing customers and our ability to grow into new areas, particularly through our intermediary division, Acerta,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

Mr Howe joined Guild from ANZ, where he was GM Insurance. He has also worked for Westpac in insurance and financial planning.
