Crawford launches agriculture division

Loss adjuster Crawford & Company has established an agriculture division after teaming up with specialist adjuster Ken Bullen.

Mr Bullen parted ways with Cerno last month, buying the loss adjuster’s 40% shareholding in his agricultural claims business for an undisclosed fee.

He has now entered a partnership arrangement with Crawford, and will trade as Crawford Agriculture.

Crawford & Company Pacific CEO Andrew Bart says Mr Bullen’s team is a “key addition”.

“We regard the development of specialist services with high-quality personnel as a very important part of our strategic plan,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“There is definitely a market for high-grade agricultural services in Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere.”

Mr Bullen says combining his expertise with the Crawford network will improve services for clients and open up new sectors of the market.
