AIG New Zealand CFO Debbie Wilson has been promoted to CFO for Australia and Head of Finance for Greater China and Australasia, effective from Friday.

She takes over from Stuart Farquharson, who was named in April as the new CFO General Insurance at Zurich Australia.

Ms Wilson has relocated to Sydney and will retain her CFO title for the New Zealand business – a position she has held since joining the group in October 2011.

The CFOs for China, Taiwan and Hong Kong will report to her.

Ms Wilson was financial controller at Lumley General Insurance New Zealand before joining AIG. She has also worked for Ace Insurance and Marsh.
