The soon to be released National Workplace Health & Safety legislation regulations represent a fundamental shift away from employment as the basis for determining workplace health and safety obligations. What do these changes mean and how will they affect you and your business when an accident occurs?
Using hypotheticals, practical examples and role play, this workshop gives an understanding of some of the critical issues facing business, its executives and risk managers. It includes how current workplace health and safety obligations will change, the new personal due diligence obligations on company “officers”, the new duty to consult, co-operate and co-ordinate and the advantages to be gained.
