ANZIIF Essentials of Insurance Law Workshop
This workshop provides participants with a sound knowledge and understanding of the legal system and key legislation that governs the practice of general insurance in either Australia or New Zealand.
Upon completion of the program, participants should be able to identify and explain some key aspects of the relevant legal system, the features of common law and statute law, key legislation affecting the general insurance sector, the concepts of duty of utmost good faith, the duty of disclosure and average, and the key regulatory bodies.
