RMIA 'Planning for disaster response is not enough' Seminar
The events of the past summer may have given us a glimpse of what some might determine to be the future riskscape confronting Australia. An environment which can evolve rapidly into one which is both demanding and complex, and one which tests an organisation’s capacity to manage current challenges and prepare for those not yet faced.
Victorian Emergency Services Commissioner Bruce Esplin will discuss organisational agility in risk management focusing on the new Australian riskscape - a riskscape which demands a rebalance to prevention and mitigation, and which commands the question of the cost of not doing, rather than doing.
