This workshop assists the induction of staff into the reinsurance industry while supplying an overview of the basics to service providers and others in insurance that benefit from an enhanced understanding of the reinsurance industry.

This course will give you a better understanding of reinsurance in the underwriting of non-life insurance; the various forms of reinsurance and how they are utilised to support the many classes of business insured; the terms used to describe the various operations, methods, contracts and accounting of reinsurance as well as how reinsurance capacity is decided upon, types of reinsurance selected and cover secured in the reinsurance market.
