How reinsurance works: Swiss Re helps
Professionals and members of the public trying to understand the complex world of reinsurance now have a ready-made guide at their fingertips – if they have an Apple iPad.
Swiss Re has built the “Essential guide to reinsurance” app for beginners to reinsurance or those needing to refresh their memory.
The reinsurer says the app will enable people to “get to know reinsurance a little better”.
The “Essential guide to reinsurance” includes definitions of important terms, summarises the main forms of traditional insurance and the importance of the risk diversification.
The app is available at no charge from Apple iTunes stores and is only compatible with iPads.
