The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance has announced the finalists in this year’s Australian Insurance Industry Awards.

A panel of 16 industry professionals selected the finalists, with winners to be announced at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 14.

The finalists are:

• Law firm/practitioner: Barry Nilsson Lawyers, HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, Minter Ellison
• Life insurance company: AIA, BT Financial Group, MLC/NAB Wealth
• Claims service provider: Aon Risk Solutions, CommInsure, National Transport Insurance, Suncorp
• Underwriting agency: Axis Underwriting Services, Dual Australia, Brooklyn Underwriting
• Service provider to the insurance industry: JB Hi-Fi, Recoveries Corp, PWC
• Innovation: AIG Australia, BT Financial Group, MLC/NAB Wealth
