APRA shakes up leadership roles

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has appointed Steve Matthews as EGM Corporate Services, in a major shake-up of its leadership team.

The former CFO will now be responsible for overseeing corporate support functions including governance, public affairs, human resources, information technology and finance.

APRA has also announced new responsibilities for four EGMs.

Brandon Khoo will replace Keith Chapman as EGM Diversified Institutions, and Mr Chapman will succeed Mr Khoo as EGM Specialised Institutions, effective from April 1.

EGM Policy, Statistics and International Charles Littrell will replace Sarah Goodman as EGM Supervisory Support. Ms Goodman will become EGM Policy and Advice. These changes are effective from July 1.

Chairman Wayne Byres says the leadership changes reflect “an ongoing commitment by APRA to review and refresh its operations”.
