Calliden channels strata business through QUS
Calliden Group has announced the transfer of all commercial strata business to partly owned Queensland Underwriting Solutions (QUS).
QUS is a specialist insurer of property owners and has taken on all Calliden Group quotations and business.
Calliden, which will continue to provide underwriting, jointly owns QUS alongside Queensland Broker Holdings.
Calliden Group Executive Marketing & Distribution Mike Hooton told insuranceNEWS.com.au the deal reflects the firm’s specialist agency distribution strategy.
“It makes sense to centralise the business instead of handling strata within different parts of the group,” he said.
